You can get up close and personal with the beautiful Macaws and the talking Cockatoos as they sit on their perches. Whether you’re looking for a souvenir or gifts for the animal lovers in your life, you can find it all at Amazon Traders, the gift shop located at the entrance of this attraction. The best part is that you can browse all the wonderful keepsakes there without having to pay admission. You can find apparel for all ages, colorful, stuffed animals, and so much more. With zoological themed items from around the world, including many that are handmade by native rainforest peoples, this gift shop truly is one of the most interesting in the Smokies!
4. Feed and Pet the Animals
You and your family will love interacting with the donkeys, sheep, and goats outside! The kids will love getting to meet these furry new friends. You can even reach over the fence to give these cuties a quick pat on the head or to feed them a tasty treat from your hand.
5. Ways to Save at the RainForest Adventures Discovery Zoo
The RainForest Adventures Discovery Zoo is both affordably priced and fun for the whole family! If you plan on being in town for a while or stopping by again in the coming months, you can purchase a season passport. It gives you unlimited visits to the RainForest for a full year from the date of purchase of your pass! With your pass, you can also receive a 10% discount in the gift shop. Discounts are also available for groups of 10 or more paying persons. Children under the age of 3 can even experience this attraction for free!
