1. Apple Barn
The Apple Barn is so close to our condos that you can walk to it! What started as an old cattle barn has turned into The Apple Barn that is so well known and loved today. When you visit The Apple Barn, you can stop by the Cider Room and watch the variety of ciders being made, grab an ice cream cone at The Creamery, or satisfy your sweet tooth at the Candy Factory. The Apple Barn Village is also home to the famous Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant, Applewood Farmhouse Grill, and Apple Barn Winery. When you stay in our condos, you will get a complimentary breakfast at the Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant!
2. Adventure Park at Five Oaks
One of the best things to do in the Smoky Mountains is visit the Adventure Park at Five Oaks! You can go ziplining, try the Tree Tops Ropes Course, or even go horseback riding. This 70-acre nature park is in the heart of Sevierville and just 5 minutes away from our Smoky Mountain condos! Whether you’re experiencing the thrill of a canopy tour on ziplines up to 100 feet in the air, or exploring the gorgeous scenery on horseback, you are guaranteed to have an unforgettable adventure.
3. Ripley’s Old MacDonald’s Farm Mini Golf
Everyone loves mini golf! Luckily for you, this exciting mini golf experience is less than 10 minutes from our resort. Ripley’s Old MacDonald’s Farm Mini Golf has 54 holes of “down on the farm” family fun. There will be animated barnyard characters, water features, and other interactive elements at every turn. It will be like no other mini golf course you’ve played before!
4. NASCAR SpeedPark
You can feel like your favorite NASCAR driver when you visit this go-kart track in Sevierville! Not only will you get to race around the Smoky Mountain Speedway, but you’ll have 7 other tracks to try for all ages, from children to adults at NASCAR SpeedPark. Kids will love hopping in the driver’s seat on Baby Bristol, and those who are looking for more of a thrill will love The Intimidator, a track named after the intimidator himself, Dale Earnhardt. After your go-kart experience, try some family fun rides like bumper cars or Starship 3000. NASCAR SpeedPark is less than 10 minutes away from Appleview River Resort!
5. Titanic Museum
If you’re interested in the story of the Titanic, then the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge is a must-stop on your vacation. This museum celebrates the ship, passengers and crew. Visitors will get to feel what it was like to be aboard the ship as they walk the hallways, parlors, cabins and Grand Staircase while surrounded by 400 artifacts of the ship and its passengers. You can even stick your hand in 28-degree water and try to stand on the sloping decks as you experience first hand what it was like on the ship. The Titanic Museum is 10 minutes away from the Appleview River Resort.
