The Gatlinburg Space Needle is an iconic 407-foot observation tower. Take the glass elevators to the observation deck and you will find a 360-degree view of the mountains and downtown Gatlinburg. You can all visit once during the day to see the beautiful landscape surrounding Gatlinburg. Then come back at night to see the twinkling street lights of the Parkway.
2. Gatlinburg Sky Lift
Hop on the Gatlinburg Sky Lift for a smooth ride to the top of Crockett Mountain! Take in the picture-perfect views from 1,800 feet in the air, as you glide to the top. You and two other people can ride in the same chair and share the experience. There are also discounts for active and retired military. With everything this attraction has to offer, it truly is the best seat in Gatlinburg!
3. CLIMB Works Smoky Mountains
CLIMB Works is home to 2 world-class zipline tours and mountain biking for all skill levels. When it comes to mountain biking, CLIMB Works provides the bike, the trail, and the experience! Their Treetop Zipline Tour was rated as the top zipline in all of Tennessee. With 9 ziplines and 3 sky bridges, you’ll see why it’s the best of the best! You can also take in the 360 degree panoramic views of the Smokies, and learn about their rich history on the Mountaintop Zipline Tour. Their goal is to push you a little out of your comfort zone, but at your own pace.
4. Ober Gatlinburg
For a mountaintop of fun and gorgeous views, take the Aerial Tramway on a breathtaking 2.1 mile ride to the Ober Amusement Park and Ski Area. It departs regularly from downtown Gatlinburg and can fit up to 120 people! Once you reach the top, you’ll have a variety of activities to choose from that offer spectacular views. Go for a thrilling ride on the Ski Mountain Coaster. It borders the Great Smoky Mountains National Park so you can take in the gorgeous, natural scenery.
