There are enough things to do near our property that will keep the young ones busy and entertained for the entire vacation. Here are 4 of the best things to do in Sevierville with kids:
1. Visit the Smoky Mountain Deer Farm
What child doesn’t love animals? At the Smoky Mountain Deer Farm, you and your family will have the opportunity to get up close to some amazing animals! Not only can your child pet the deer at the farm, they will also be able to walk among them and hand-feed these awesome animals. Don’t let the name fool you, there are many other animals to see other than deer. The petting zoo part of the park features all different types of creatures, including an elk, a baby goat, a zebra, and even a kangaroo! Families are free to take pictures of their children playing with the animals, and they might just be some of the best photos you get on your trip. Another great feature of the farm is the opportunity for children to go on a pony ride. Parents can walk along and lead the pony while their child is riding. Parents don’t have to feel left out because there is a ride for you as well! At the Smoky Mountain Deer Farm, you can make family plans to go horseback riding. Anyone over the age of 5 can ride their own horse, as long as they reach the minimum height and weight restriction. What a better way to start your family vacation than by going on a horseback ride together?
2. Ride Go Karts at NASCAR SpeedPark
NASCAR SpeedPark is one of the best places for your family to go ride go karts because of the different tracks available for children of all ages. Beginning with the Baby Bristol track, children can ride go karts at the park once they are 36 inches tall. Overall, the amusement park contains 8 different tracks for all ages and skill levels. Also, there is more to do at NASCAR SpeedPark besides just riding go karts. The park also features bumper cars, mini golf, a climbing wall, and an arcade. This is one of the best things to do in Sevierville because every member of the family can find something to entertain themselves.
3. Jump Around Sevier Air
If you are looking for an activity to get rid of some of the extra energy your child has, take them to Sevier Air. Their facility covers over 38,000 square feet and features numerous different activities for children to test out. They have two different ninja warrior courses that are based off of the hit television show and allows for both kids and adults to test their balance and agility. There are also a variety of different trampolines and obstacles to keep children bouncing for hours. If you are celebrating a special occasion while visiting the Smoky Mountains, you can host a party or special event at the trampoline park! If you need a way to ensure that the kids sleep well at night, just take them to Sevier Air and let them bounce around until they pass out for the night!
4. Travel to the Rainforest Adventure Discovery Zoo
No matter where you travel together as a family, one of the most popular activities for children is the zoo. However, this is a zoo unlike any other you have ever seen before! At the Rainforest Adventure Discovery Zoo, children will be able to see over 600 live animals that cover over 130 different species! The thing that makes this different from some of the other zoos around the world, is that it is specially focused on the rainforest ecosystem. The Rainforest Zoo is themed by one of the nation’s finest zoological contractors, and is the same one that is responsible for Animal Kingdom at Disney World.
